North Mountain Friends Meeting

North Mountain Friends Meeting is a small Quaker worship group rooted in simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality, and sustainability. We warmly welcome friends of every background, belief, and circumstance –whether you are simply looking for a peaceful place to sit and reflect, are quietly curious, spiritually searching, or deeply experienced with Quaker practice. Your presence will make a real difference to the gathered silence, and to the company of other seekers, who are open to whatever spirit may move in the room.

Mondays at Bonfire Bookstore – 108 North Main Street, Woodstock VA 22664

4:30-5:30: Silent, unprogrammed worship
5:30-6:15: Informal discussion about Quaker history and traditions, ideas that arise during worship, and the ways we each are striving to identify and live out our values.

We operate under the care of Valley Friends Meeting in Dayton VA and follow the guiding principles of Baltimore Yearly Meeting of the Religious Society of Friends.
